SCPPHC Board Meeting Minutes
Mexican Chiquita,Temecula,Ca.
June 12, 2007
7pm
All Board members in
attendance; Tammy Rimes, Bonie Gallegos, Cathy Yaskivich, Debbie Dutton,
Kathryn Grossman, Tracy McGraw & Merlene Sutalo.
Meeting was brought to order by
Tammy.
Minutes were accepted as
written.
Treasurer’s Report: $15,370.93.
Tammy has a bill for the ad in the Horseman’s News that needs to be paid
($330.00).Los Amigos will pay for half of the ad. The show had a profit of
about $2000.00. Kathryn will able to recycle some of the ribbons not used.
Old Business;
Ventura Show – Premium will be
out the last week of June. Debbie Pye will return the NAPHA show program
as it is not working. She has another program available for use at $30.00,
which we approved and we will send NAPHA a bill for this. Joline, as our
NAPHA representative, will complain about the continual show program
problem as well as the high fees for approval at the next NAPHA meeting.
Tammy still needs to hear from Georgia Kelly on her hotel reservations. We
will need to have someone pick Carolyn up at Ontario Airport on Friday.
She will fly back out on Sunday night so will not need a hotel room for
Sunday. Cathy need to check with Darrell Thompson regarding Express
Trailer Sales and a request for spaces for having trailers on display.
Bonnie will get an e-mail address for Pepe Risso and forward this to Cathy
so she can get a Judging Contract out to him for 2008.
Newsletter – Kathryn plans to
have this out on Saturday or Monday.
April Show – Kathryn has the
corrected awards from the show and will give/ship them to their owners.
New Business;
Danell has two banners and we
will need one back. Tammy will e-mail her and ask her to return one.
Tammy is confirming show dates
for Pomona for 2008.
Kathryn asked about having a
General Meeting this year other than the election meeting.
Debbie suggested we send decals
to members. Cathy will check into ordering them. Debbie will do the
directory. Cathy will compare the web-site with the actual current
memberships and have Debbie Pye update the web-site. Debbie suggested we
change the reading of the Junior portion of the membership application to
Jr. Membership Aficionado/Owner. This was approved.
Merlene will check on available
dates in November to have the Election/General Meeting at their new ranch
in La Cresta.
No Board Meeting in July and
the August will be August 7th at Mexican Chiquita, Temecula.
The meeting was adjourned at
8:30pm.
