High Point and Reserve High Point, 12 years & under
All classes designated for the Juniors and their respective age groups will qualify for High Point Junior.  This award is presented on Sunday afternoon after all the junior classes have been completed.

Performance:
High Point Performance Gelding
High Point Performance Mare
High Point Performance Stallion
Placings in qualifying classes will be given point values at the show, and the winners will be announced on Sunday afternoon prior to the Championship classes.

High Point Senior Award:
Placings in qualifying classes for senior riders will accrue point values at the shows in which this award is offered.  The winner will be announced on Sunday afternoon prior to the Championship classes.

Laureado / Laureada:
These awards are given when a horse wins Champion of Champions in the same division three times at the same show (does not need to be consecutive years).  These awards will be presented the following year after the award is received at the same show.  Generally, the owner of the recipient horse will host a party or event during the show which is published in the show program.

Medal of Distinction:
If a Laureado / Laureada is earned at the Grand Championship Show, the award is called the Medal of Distinction and a special medal is awarded to the horse, in lieu of the Laureado / Laureada award.  This award is special because the entrants for the Champion of Champions competition may be the Champion from the Spring Classic championship Show, the Pacific Coast Championship Show, as well as the Grand Championship Show for the same year.

Perpetual Awards:
These are special awards that are set up by friends and family of members who were especially supportive of the club over the years.  The winner receives a plaque at the show to keep, and their name is etched on the perpetual trophy which stays with the club.
Spring Classic Championship Show:
Vivienne Lundquist Memorial Trophy
Champion of Champions Breeding Stallion
Vivienne Lundquist was involved in the Peruvian Paso breed for more than 20 years.  She was a supporter in the broadest sense ... as a breeder, exhibitor and enthusiast.  She sponsored promotional activities, hosted an open house each year, and helped support clubs as well as the National organizations.  She will long be remembered as riding her beloved stallion Antares, while carrying an American flag.  Debbie Graham, long time assistant to Vivienne, donated this award.
Pacific Coast Championship Show:
Mel Harmon Memorial Trophy
First Place Peruvian Attire Class
Mel Harmon was one of the founders and supporters of this club, and active in the breed in the early years.
Mel Long Memorial Trophy
High Point Junior, regardless of age
Mel Long was one of the founders and supporters of this club, and active in the breed in the early years.
Stuart Hamblen
High Point Horse of Show (Highest of the three High Point Performance awards)
Stuart Hamblen was a breeder and promoter of the Peruvian Paso Horse for many years.  Also a noted songwriter, storyteller, entertainer and Presidential candidate.  Stuart, his wife Suzy, and family rode in the Rose Parade nearly every year.  His horse "AEV Oro Negro" was well known as a National Laureado Breeding Stallion.  His family donated this award, after his death, and often appear to assist with the award presentation.
Grand Championship Show:
Stella Long Memorial Trophy
High Point Horse in specialty Horse Classes (includes Champagne, Sidesaddle, English/Plantation, Western)
Stella Long was one of the founders and supporter of this club and loved the specialty horse classes.  This award was donated by her daughter, after Stella's death.
